Composition Assignment.

Here is the Composition Assignment.
This photo is following the rules of thirds.  The subject is not in the center, the focus of the subject is where it needs to be.  The subject here does not necessarily need a head room, but it also does have the appropriate mount of headroom to it. The field of depth isn't really noticeable but it is.  The boat in the back is blurred out a little bit, while the subject is in focus.  and finally the balance of elements, the main element is the dock.  The dock is to me, the balance.

The Red Tree

here we have a photo taken on Quadra island again. This photo is not very vibrant with anything with a lot of color, the tree with the red sun light from the summer fires on the island and the fires over from the main land. 

Here is another photo at Quadra Island on a beach with wet rocks, reflecting the sun's background on the shine, and a man made dock in the background.

Here is a photo on Quadra Island on Vancouver Island.  This photo shows a nice blurred back ground scene with a  nice clear photo of the water and wet rocks.
